World Market Explorer® Program Rules
Become a Member
The World Market Explorer® program ("Program") is open to U.S. residents (excluding Puerto Rico and U.S. territories) at least 18 years of age, who provide and maintain a working email address and complete an enrollment profile. Communications about the Program, including changes, will be sent by email or posted at WorldMarketExplorer.com. By joining the Program, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, and by using this Program you agree to the rules of the Program. If you are between 18 and the age of majority (18 or 19 years old, depending on where you live), you agree that you have obtained permission from your parent or legal guardian to be a member of the Program. Your membership is non-transferable and is subject to present and future Program rules. Your membership is valid only at participating World Market retail store locations. Membership begins when you enroll at WorldMarketExplorer.com. If you enroll using a paper form, please allow 2 – 4 weeks for your membership to be activated.
World Market Explorer program rules are subject to change without advance notice. Cost Plus World Market may, at any time, terminate or modify the World Market Explorer program by posting the changes at WorldMarketExplorer.com.
Getting Rewards
You will not receive Rewards until you have completed an enrollment profile including a member ID, and working email address and mailing address. Once you become a member, we will track your purchases and we will maintain a balance of your purchase activity ("Activity Balance"). The Member enrollment process starts with the store sign up. You must complete your profile at WorldMarketExplorer.com in order to receive credit for your purchases. You have a 10-day grace period to complete your profile online if you sign up at a store, in order to receive credit for purchases from your sign-up date. You must enter your World Market Explorer member ID at the time of purchase to receive credit for purchases. Your Activity Balance will determine your eligibility for Rewards. Your Activity Balance is based on your total qualifying merchandise purchases, less all discounts, coupons, price reductions, Reward redemptions and returns. Your Activity Balance does not include sales taxes, shipping charges, or alcoholic beverage, kitchen electric and gift card purchases. We may offer you Rewards based on your Activity Balance from time to time.
Getting Coffee Rewards
Your Activity Balance will show your purchases of World Market 12-oz. coffee made using your World Market Explorer member ID. When your Activity Balance reaches six bags of World Market 12-oz coffee, you will receive notification via email that you have qualified for a Reward of one free 12-oz bag of World Market coffee. A Coffee Reward expires 60 days from the date it is issued. Limit one (1) Coffee Reward per customer per visit. You can review your Coffee Reward status at WorldMarketExplorer.com. Please allow 3 – 5 days from the date of each coffee purchase for your status to be updated.
Getting Gourmet Rewards
We will maintain an Activity Balance showing food purchases (alcoholic beverages are not included) made with your World Market Explorer member ID. When your Activity Balance reaches $100 in food purchases, you will receive notification via email that you have qualified for a $10 Gourmet Reward. A Gourmet Reward expires 30 days from the date it is issued. You can review your Gourmet Reward status at WorldMarketExplorer.com. Please allow 3 – 5 days from the date of each food purchase for your status to be updated.
Online Purchases
You must enter your World Market Explorer member ID at check out to receive credit your online purchases. Qualifying online purchases will be included in your Activity Balance. We may offer you Rewards based on your Activity Balance from time to time.
Using Reward Coupons
Reward Coupons are issued based solely on your Activity Balance, they are not transferable and may only be used by the member to whom they are issued. Reward Coupons will be issued at WorldMarketExplorer.com approximately one (1) week after your Activity Balance reaches a reward threshold. Unless otherwise noted in these Rules or on a Reward Coupon, each Reward Coupon will expire if not redeemed within 60 days from the date it is issued. Reward Coupons have no cash value and accordingly no cash will be paid for any Reward Coupon. Reward Coupons may be used only once. You must enter your World Market Explorer member ID in order to use any Reward Coupon. Reward Coupons are valid at either World Market stores or online at the WorldMarket.com website.
Non-Qualifying Redemptions
Reward Coupons may not be redeemed for prior purchases, purchase of World Market gift cards, for alcoholic beverages or kitchen electrics, for purchases made for resale, or for sales tax or shipping charges. Other exclusions may apply as stated on the Reward Coupon, or as posted at WorldMarketExplorer.com from time to time.
Rolling 12-Month Program
Reward Coupons are issued on the basis of your Activity Balance during a 12-month period. Activity Balances more than 12 months old expire and are no longer eligible for Rewards.
Membership Termination
World Market Explorer Program members who do not provide a unique working email address may have their membership inactivated. Email address changes can be made by selecting "My Profile" at WorldMarketExplorer.com.
You may cancel your membership at any time by notifying us at support@worldmarketexplorer.com. Cancellation may take 2 to 4 weeks. Upon cancellation your membership will be inactivated.
Your membership may expire on the last day of the 12th month of inactivity if you make no qualifying purchases within any continuous (rolling) 12-month period, and your Activity Balance will be deactivated.
World Market reserves the right to terminate your membership for any reason or no reason and at its sole discretion.
Returned Merchandise
We will deduct the value of any return(s) of qualifying products from your Activity Balance and we may immediately cancel any or all outstanding Reward Coupons issued to you.

General Program Information
The World Market Explorer program is brought to you by Cost Plus World Market. By becoming a member of the World Market Explorer program, you agree to receive advertising, marketing materials and other communications from Cost Plus World Market. You acknowledge and agree that all Rewards are delivered to you under this program without payment of any fee or other consideration whatsoever. Rewards are gifts or incentives and are not paid for by you, nor do you own any right, title, or interest in them unless or until you redeem them.
The laws of the State of California apply to this program and you agree that any claim related to the program will be brought in the State of California.
