Becoming a Member

  • How do I enroll in the World Market Explorer Rewards Program?

    There are two ways to enroll:
    1. Go to WorldMarketExplorer.com and follow the instructions to enroll.
    2. Start your enrollment in store and then activate your membership at WorldMarketExplorer.com.

  • Does it cost anything to become a member?

    No. It’s fast, easy and free! There is no fee to join and no ongoing membership fee.

  • Who can join the World Market Explorer Rewards Program?

    The World Market Explorer Rewards Program is open to U.S. residents (excluding Puerto Rico and U.S. territories) at least 18 years of age who provide and maintain a working email address and complete an enrollment profile.

  • What do I need to do to become a World Market Explorer Rewards Program member and have full access to all benefits?

    To access to all program benefits, you must activate your membership at WorldMarketExplorer.com by providing information such as a Member ID, a working email address and mailing address. In order to receive notification of Reward coupons, members must opt-in to receive emails from Cost Plus World Market.

Managing Your Member ID and Profile

  • Where can I find my member ID?

    Your 10-digit member ID is created when you enroll either at the store or at WorldMarketExplorer.com. It can also be found on the My Profile page once you log into WorldMarketExplorer.com.

  • Can I use any 10-digit member ID?

    Yes, you can select any 10-digit number as your member ID.

  • When do I use my member ID?

    You enter your 10-digit member ID during the checkout process in store or online. By using your member ID when you make a purchase, we can track your eligible purchases so you can get and redeem Rewards. You must enter your World Market Explorer membership ID at checkout to receive credit for purchases. Your Member ID may also be required to redeem World Market Explorer rewards, coupons and offers.

  • How do I update or change my Member ID?

    You can contact us for help with Member ID requests.

  • I have two Member IDs. Can I combine them?

    Yes, you may consolidate two or more Member IDs into one. Contact us for help with Member ID requests.

  • How do I change my contact information?

    Sign in at WorldMarketExplorer.com and select My Profile. From My Profile you can update your name, mailing address, email address and password.

Getting & Using Rewards

  • When I sign up in store do my purchases count toward Shopper Rewards?

    Every purchase of qualifying merchandise contributes to your Activity Balance, however you will not receive Shopper Rewards until your membership is activated at WorldMarketExplorer.com.

  • How do I get credit for my in-store purchases?

    You must enter your World Market Explorer Member ID at checkout to receive credit for purchases. Credit cannot be given for prior purchases or retroactively if Member ID is not entered at time of purchase. Please allow up to 72 hours after your in-store purchase for your Activity Balance to be updated on your WorldMarketExplorer.com Reward Status.

  • Do I get credit for my purchases on WorldMarket.com?

    Yes. Enter your World Market Explorer Member ID when you checkout, and you will receive credit for your eligible purchases. Credit cannot be given for prior purchases or retroactively if Member ID is not entered at time of purchase. Please allow up to 72 hours from the time of shipment for your Activity Balance to be updated on your WorldMarketExplorer.com Reward Status.

  • I forgot to enter my Member ID at checkout. Can I still receive credit for my purchase?

    No. You must enter your Member ID at time of purchase to receive credit for your purchases. Credit cannot be given for prior purchases or retroactively if Member ID is not entered at time of purchase.

  • How do I receive Shopper Rewards or Coffee Perk Rewards?

    We will notify you by email when you have a Shopper Reward or Coffee Perk Reward available. You can access your Rewards by logging in to WorldMarketExplorer.com. If you enrolled in store, you must activate your membership at WorldMarketExplorer.com to access your Rewards. You must also be opted-in to receive emails from Cost Plus World Market in order to receive Reward notifications.

  • Where do I go to check my Shopper Reward and Coffee Perk Reward statuses?

    Login to WorldMarketExplorer.com to check your Activity Balance and available Rewards on the “My Rewards” page.

  • How do I use my Rewards?

    There are two ways to use your Reward.
    1. Print and Present Coupon at checkout: Sign in to WorldMarketExplorer.com and print your Reward coupon in the “My Rewards” tab.
    2. Show Coupon on your mobile device at checkout: Sign in to WorldMarketExplorer.com and display your Reward coupon.

  • I know I have earned a Reward, but why did I not receive an email notification?

    It’s possible that the notification email landed in your Spam folder. Please make sure to add WorldMarket@email.worldmarket.com to your address book. You need to be opted-in to receive emails from us to receive Reward notifications. You can manage your email opt-in preference by signing into WorldMarketExplorer.com and going to the “My Profile” page. Unfortunately, we cannot reissue the Reward after it has expired.

  • Can I use my Rewards to make purchases on WorldMarket.com?

    Yes, your Rewards can be used for online purchases. Rewards are subject to the exclusions as stated on the reward offer, and are also posted at WorldMarketExplorer.com. In order to redeem your Reward, you must enter your Member ID and the online promotional code at checkout.

  • Is there any limit on the number of reward coupons I can use in a single transaction?

    Yes, a maximum of 10 reward coupons may be used per transaction.

  • What happens if I buy an item with a Reward and later return the item? Do I get my Reward back?

    No, a Reward can be used only once. If you return or exchange an item, you forfeit any Reward(s) that you used for that purchase and your Activity Balance will not be recredited.

Mobile Explorer Program

  • How do I sign up for Mobile Alerts?

    To sign up for receive your Rewards, coupons and more via you mobile device, simply text SIGNUP to 95730. You’ll then be prompted to reply with your 10-digit World Market Explorer Member ID to verify that you are eligible to enroll in the program. Once verified, you will need to reply ‘Y’ to confirm that you want to join the SMS/Text program. Once you’ve confirmed your opt-in, you will receive a15% off coupon to use immediately!

  • What are the benefits of joining the Mobile Alerts program?

    After you opt-in, you’ll receive a coupon for 15% off your next purchase, delivered directly to your mobile device. Then, you’ll start to receive your Rewards and coupons directly to your mobile device, making it easier than ever to access and use your coupons. You’ll also receive mobile-exclusive offers, as well as alerts about sales and brand events. Lastly, you can view all coupons and Rewards available to you at any time by texting COUPONS to 95730.

  • Who can join the Cost Plus World Market Mobile Alerts program?

    Mobile alerts are available to all members of the World Market Explorer Rewards program. If you’re not currently a member, you can join today, for free! The Rewards program is open to U.S. residents (excl. Puerto Rico and U.S. territories) at least 18 years of age who provide and maintain a working email address and complete an enrollment profile. Within 30-45 minutes of enrollment in the Explorer program, you can sign up for mobile alerts.

  • I have two Member IDs. Can I sign up with both?

    No. Every mobile device can only enroll one Member ID. In addition, in order to maximize your spend and earn more Rewards, we recommend consolidating your Member IDs into one membership account. Email us at support@worldmarketexplorer.com for assistance.

  • I share my WME account with someone else. Can we enroll both of our mobile phones in the Mobile Alerts program?

    No. Each World Market Explorer account can only have one mobile phone number associated with it.

  • I no longer wish to receive mobile alerts from Cost Plus World Market. How do I unsubscribe?

    You can opt out at any time by texting STOP to 95730. You will receive one additional message confirming that your opt-out has been processed.

  • I live outside the U.S. and don’t have a U.S. cell phone number. Can I enroll in the SMS program?

    Unfortunately we do not currently support non-U.S. cell phone numbers. You are still eligible to participate in the World Market Explorer Rewards program and can access your Rewards and coupons online at worldmarketexplorer.com as well as receive them via email.

  • How many messages will I receive per month?

    You will receive no more than 8 messages/ month.

  • Will my WME Rewards and coupons still be available via email and online at WorldMarketExplorer.com like they are today?

    Yes. If you are currently opted in to receive marketing messages from Cost Plus World Market, you will continue to receive emails with your WME Rewards and coupons. Similarly, you can continue to access your Rewards and coupon via WorldMarketExplorer.com.

  • Will my mobile number be shared with other companies?

    No. We do not share your personal information. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy at worldmarket.com/privacy.

Shopper Rewards

  • What purchases count towards my Activity Balance?

    Members will get rewarded for nearly all their in-store and online merchandise purchases. Alcohol, gift cards, discounts, taxes, shipping and other fees are currently excluded. A $10 Shopper Reward coupon will be issued for every $200 in qualifying purchases.

  • Is there a limit to how many Shopper Rewards I can earn?

    There is no limit to how many Shopper Rewards a member can earn. Shop away!

  • Do I need to spend a certain amount to have my purchase count towards a Shopper Reward?

    No. Any eligible purchase will add to your Activity Balance.

  • When does my Activity Balance expire?

    Your Activity Balance will not expire as long as you make an eligible purchase within 18 months.

  • When will my Shopper Reward expire?

    Shopper Rewards are valid for 60 days from the date issued.

  • What is the difference between “Pending Spend” and “Posted Spend” on my Shopper Reward status?

    Your Shopper Reward eligible spend will be in a “Pending” status for 7 days from the in store purchase or online shipment date. Pending Spend becomes Posted Spend on the 8th day after your in-store purchase or online shipment date. Posted Spend is added to your Activity Balance and counts towards the issuance of your next Shopper Reward.

Coffee Perk Rewards

  • Do I have to do anything to get credit for my coffee purchases after I enroll in store?

    Yes, you need to activate your membership on WorldMarketExplorer.com after you enroll in a store. If you do not activate your membership after 12 months, the credit for your World Market coffee purchases will be forfeited.

  • How does the Coffee Perk Reward work?

    Purchase six 12-oz. or larger bags of World Market Coffee in store or online and you'll get a coupon for a FREE 12-oz. bag of World Market Coffee in store or up to $8.99 off a World Market Coffee purchase, excluding OneCup™, when redeeming online! Plus, purchase your coffee in store or online on Wednesdays and you'll receive DOUBLE CREDITS! Buy one bag, and get 2 credits towards your free bag! Remember, you must enter your Member ID at checkout to get credit for your purchases.

  • When does my Coffee Perk credit expire?

    Coffee Perk credits are valid for 12 months and expire on a rolling 12 month basis.

  • Once a Coffee Perk Reward is issued how long do I have to use it?

    Coffee Perk Rewards are valid for 60 days from the date issued.

  • How do I cancel my membership?

    Contact us if you wish to cancel your membership. Allow 2-4 weeks to cancel your membership.

  • Who can I contact regarding the World Market Explorer Rewards Program?

    You can contact customer service. Please allow 2 business days for a response.

  • Why do you need my email address?

    All Reward coupons will be issued online. When a Reward coupon is issued, we will send you notification via email letting you know that your Reward coupon is available. We may also send you an email to notify you about products, services and promotions that we think may be of interest to you.

  • Will you be collecting and using data about my shopping and purchases?

    We will collect and store information about your purchases in order to calculate when you’re eligible to receive a Reward, and to enhance your shopping experience by notifying you about products, services and promotions that we think may be of interest to you.
